JOURNEY OF SCHOOL LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

The School Leadership Academy (SLA) came into existence in December, 2018 in Telangana as one of the academic units of the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) and as an extended arm of the National Centre for School Leadership (NCSL), National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration. The academy intends to build and enhance the capacity of school heads on a long term and continuous basis. Various activities have been undertaken by the SLA to strengthen the School Heads in multiple spheres of professional and organisational development. At the state level, SLA-SCERT/SSA trained School Heads as State Resource Group members (SRGs) through the School Leadership Development Programme.
